About Us
At Covenant Building and Remodeling, we give you a personal experience. Our focus is on the project, rather than the sale. Owner Rick Kroyer has over 30 years of experience in custom carpentry. Growing up on a farm, as well has having been employed by Al Smisek for 30 years of his career, Rick has proven his value of commitment and hard work.
Al Smisek, owner of both Al Smisek Builder’s Inc. and MARK Designs Inc., taught Rick an unwavering demand for quality from both his employees and the subcontractors working on his projects. Having purchased the company from Al in 2015, Rick is committed to keeping the long standing reputation of high craftsmanship as his number one priority.
Rick, having been Al’s lead carpenter, superintendent, and eventual project manager, felt it was difficult to change the name of the reputable company. Rick eventually decided to change the name to Covenant Building and Remodeling to focus on the honest commitment to quality and detail within the company, no matter the size of the project.
